Rana Stoops, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

What can a patient expect to take away from a session with me?
I strive to provide an environment that facilitates person centered growth, openness and joint collaboration to help mitigate and reduce symptoms of mental health. I will encourage and educate on symptoms reduction, coping skills and medication, if warranted. I will never force my agenda and maintain an open, judgment free zone.

About Rana:

I am a graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Masters degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health. I graduated with my B.S.N from University of Indianapolis in 2013 and a Masters in 2019.  I am a dedicated and compassionate board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. With over five years of experience at a Community Mental Health Center, I have honed my expertise in working with the Adult Severely Mentally Ill (SMI) and Adult Substance Use population. My career has spanned both inpatient and outpatient settings, allowing me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by my patients. I have been married for twenty-two years and we have one young adult daughter. In my free time, I enjoy reading and exploring new destinations through travel. These hobbies not only enrich my life but also provide me with valuable perspectives that I integrate into my professional practice.
